A recent survey about the increasing dropout rate of tribal students indicates that even though Kerala holds the top-most position in literacy; higher education and good career achievements are still unattainable for the tribes in Kerala. They are largely left out to struggle in their sub-standard living conditions. When it comes to competitive exams, their results are very poor due to lack of access to modern education facilities and also due to the absence of proficiency in English language. This alarming situation is more critical in the case of tribal girls. They are forced to discontinue their education because of financial problems and non-availability of affordable modern educational institutions.

On a long-term vision to create equality, awareness, better outlook on life by giving free modern education to the unprivileged;

In the year 2017 the honourable Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Shri. Pon Radhakrishnan has inaugurated the ‘SABARI BALIKA SADANAM‘ in the campus of Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Kudayathoor. There onwards the Sabari Balika Sadanam has ensured FREE national standard CBSE education, FREE food and FREE accommodation with a high-quality institutional care to the tribal girl students. Sabari Balika Sadanam is the one and only one undertaking of its kind which is predominantly focuses on tribal girls empowerment ensuring free education with free hostel facilities in Kerala.

Over the years, we have faced a multitude of issues but undeterred by any of them, we focus our energy on devising solutions that can help us continue sharing the gift of education to underprivileged children. Our aim is to bring up 100 highly educated tribal girl students with decisive results in competitive exams by 2030 through free coaching classes. These classes would help the tribal girls to gain confidence to face highly competitive exams and a competition-driven society.

As of now the Sabari Balika Sadanam is accommodating tribal girl students of classes II to X and providing free education at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Secondary School. The hostel equipped with all the amenities is managed by full-time wardens, tuition teachers who give special care to the children. The hostel enjoys the services of a full-time  chef too.

We work for the social and economic betterment of the tribal girl students; in order to carry on helping out – we need your support, in either  the form of cash or kind.

To promote, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant donation for and to aid and assist in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement, and extension of Sabari Balika Sadhanam Tribal Girls Hostel Kudayathoor, Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Secondary School Kudayathoor and Bharatheeya Vidya Nikethan Educational institution, School, Colleges, manage Educational Institutions, Universities, Medical Institutions, Research Centers Training Centers, and other Art, Craft and Science Institute , Hostels for benefits of students and generally all kinds of educational Institutions whether General, Technical, Vocational, Professional, Spiritual, or of any other description whatsoever for the education, welfare and uplifting of the general public and to institute and award scholarship for study, research, training, apprenticeship for all of or any of the said purposes.

To establish ,maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant donations for and to aid and assist in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement and extension of libraries, reading room, audio visual publishing divisions and all other facilities as are calculated to be of use in imparting education/information to the public.

To provide Education, food, clothing, medical relief and other requirements to uplift the living and social condition of the people belonging to Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

To spread for promotion of Education and learning in all branches, more specifically in science and technology.

To advance Indian culture and Literature, Service of this country for the benefit of our Nation.
